HAPPiNESS!

This weekend, I took off of work and went to see my family in New York. I was excited to see them because I have been missing them terribly. Since I got a job, I have been going there less and less. I spent time with my grandparents, watched movies, prank called them, and made ice cream floats with them, my two aunts, and my mother. I love being there. It's difficult for me to communicate with them because my grandparents speak Spanish and I never learned it. We have an unspoken love for each other so it kind of fills the void, but it bothers me because I don't have the type of relationship with them like other people with their grandparents. I went there Saturday and came back on Sunday. On Sunday, it was my little cousin's 12th birthday so we all went to Applebees. Everyone in New York must have been celebrating a birthday at Applebees because it was packed and its employees must have sang Happy Birthday to 20 different tables. Most of my mom's side of the family was there and I was happy to be with them. I needed to be around them because I've missed them. The best part is that I got to bring my niece home with me so she's staying with us for the week! :)
